Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.
Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!
Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:
- 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
- 2 boxes of Spring Snacks
To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

I had never seen Little Debbies before moving to the U.S. I couldn’t believe something so delicious could be so inexpensive or so perfectly packaged. I liked them so much, my husband substituted little Debbie’s picture from the box on my portrait he carries in his wallet!

My little debbie moment is eating ho hos (swiss cake rolls) with my husband. I try and get one at least or he will eat the whole box.

I remember watching my daughter eat her first one, she was 4. She licked the inside cream and a huge smile light up her face. She still loves them at 33! Yay lil Debbie!!

My favorite memory was when my grandmother would buy the oatmeal creme cakes. She was a baker and did not believe in buying cookies that she could bake!!

I grew up without these snacks, but I love putting these treats to my daughter’s lunch box or field trip bags. She loves it and I enjoy too:-)

My grandfather always took them to work in his lunch when I was little–in the early 60’s. As my kids were growing up in the 90’s, I put the oatmeal pies in their lunches. I even bought the Little Debbie Barbie series! I’ve always loved them, especially the nutty bars. My hubby loves Star Crunch!
Amy D
I hardly ever get to eat them since my two boys always sneak in there room and eat the whole box in one sitting.
Angie
I am a fan of both you and Little Debbie on Facebook.

My father in law tells the story of selling the first little debbie oatmeal cream pie in Knoxville, TN. He remembers the time when he GAVE them away so that people would just try them, of course he knew they’d be hooked. I love them straight from the freezer-unbelievable!
Lisa
Got them packed in our lunches as a treat every once in a (great) while. But we still knew the rules–don’t touch the treats until your sandwich/main course is gone :)

My friends and I used to love Star Crunch—we took them to all our games, church retreats, etc, and put them in our spirit bags on football game days! Still love ’em!

When i was in school my mom brought the star crunch and the oatmeal cookie for our lunches. We didn’t get that many sweets so it was a special treat for us. I still love to eat them today but they are a very special treat because of me being diabetic. I have a 5 year old that likes the oatmeal cookie.
