If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.

Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!

Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:

  • 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
  • 2 boxes of Spring Snacks

To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

    There was nothing better than opening my lunch box at school when I was a child and seeing that mom put some little cakes in there. It was such a great surprise!

    When I was in high school and gas was cheap enough that you could afford a treat after filling up – my friends and I would always get little debbie snacks.

    These were a treat for lunch in the few days after payday when I was a kid. When they were gone, that was it until the next time around.

    I remember my brothers & I being so excited to go food shopping with my mom! She always let us each pick out our own box of Little Debbie snacks. I thought she was sooo awesome. Now I realize it’s just because they are so well priced and yummy!

    my dad is a little debbie addict. as long as I can remember, mom has kept one of her kitchen cabinets stocked full of various boxes, with swiss cake rolls and oatmeal cream pies being a staple.

    My dad cut out all the little Debbie pix and my first day of college duck taped them to my dorm room door so everyone would know my nickname and stood in the hall and handed out swiss rolls…. instant friends… after all who doesnt like little debbie!

    Hello! I love Little Debbie :) I have ever since I was little. When I was little, we didn’t have a lot of money so when we were able to get a box of these it was such a TREAT! Love them!!! Thanks :)

    When I was a little girl my mom would always buy me Nutty Bars as my special treat. I passed on the tradition and buy them for my daughters now as their treat. My mom passed away two years ago and we often talk about memories of her when we eat our Nutty Bars together.

    As a kids getting to have a nutty bar was the best and i was get a special treat. Now I see do not cost much but still as good today.

    We never had sweets much but everytime we went camping my mom would buy us a box of Star Crunches, I still think of camping, everytime I see a box.

    At my grandparents house they always had the Oatmeal Cream Pies, I can remember thinking if PawPaw loved them then they were so special :D They were his favorite and now they are mine too.

    The first time I ever ate Little Debbies was at school in first grade. My best friend used to have a couple of the packed in her lunch every day, and one day she shared with me. I loved it so much that it became a regular thing until my mother finally bought me some a week later, and we’d sometimes trade with each other after that!
