Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

My tip is to have hubby make the coffee before I even get up. It is the one luxury I look forward to each morning as I get ready for a busy day with a baby and toddler!

In the unpredictability of a morning getting 3 kids out the door by 8am, My coffe is the one constant that I can depend on. Everything else is a free-for-all!

I follow you on Facebook and I really need a Keurig. I cannot function without good hot coffee in the morning and I walk around in a daze until I have it. Hubby makes whole pots of nasty (cheap, weak, bitter) coffee every morning, so if I want good hot coffee I have to throw out at least 8 cups of coffee and wait 20 minutes for a new batch. Help me :(

I cook a big batch of breakfast burritos once a week and then freeze them. @ minutes in the microwave in the morning and we get an easy high protein breakfast.
I currently drink instant coffee because my husband doesn’t like coffee and I hate brewing an entire pot for just me.

I am a subscriber! I love my mom’s Keurig and just put one on my Christmas list! I survive crazy mornings with six kids with STRONG coffee and placing their clothes and as much of their breakfast I can out the night before.

I always set my coffee to brew the night before so I can pour my first cup when my alarm goes off! Its the only way to start my day. I have been wanting one of these for a while now and have been begging my hub for one for my upcoming birthday, it would be nice to win one instead :-)

I set up my coffee pot and my breakfast the night before so at 5am my coffee is already brewed and all I have to do is pour my cereal into a bowl. My morning is not complete until I have my coffee!

Our mornings are a relay with everyone tag teaming with breakfast, getting 3 girls ready and out the door. We find it easiest to each tackle one thing. ie I give all the girls showers and one at a time they leave me, get dressed an dad makes breakfast. That first cup of coffee makes all the difference.
