Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

We do as much as we can the night before – clothes set out, lunches packed, etc! A cup of coffee in the morning just makes the morning a little brighter :)

My hectic morning trick is to get the coffee ready the night before and set the timer. I love waking up to the smell of coffee.

Planning ahead!!! have lunch stuff ready, clothes picked out, bags ready to go. Also getting up a half our ealier than we need to helps not to have that ‘rushed’ feeling. Much happier morning. Oh, and making coffee the night before and setting the timer!!!

Have everything ready the night before…it is the only way I function!!! I am not the coffee drinker in the family. But my husband is and truly does not function until that coffee is in his system!! He would LOVE this!!!

WOW – thanks for the opportunity to win!
I get the coffee ready the night before…and set the timer! I love waking up to the smell of FRESH coffee!
To get my hectic morning going I like a STRONG coffee with a decadent fat-free creamer (Coffee-Mate’s Cinnamon Vanilla is my favorite)!
I take mine to my dressing room with me and sip while I get ready for work – YUM!

Again, thanks for the awesome opportunity to win!

The chaos will never be completely tamed in the morning, but the best way to get through it for me is to plan thoroughly the night before. I make sure everybody’s stuff is ready for them to grab it and go in the morning.

My coffee is my reward for getting everyone on their way successfully and on time. When it’s just me and my coffee cup, I can collect my thoughts and start the rest of my day on a more peaceful note!

Always have backpacks set by shoes the night before. I also have cereal bowls and glasses set on the kitchen table. We try picking out outfits and laying them out the night before, also…but my daughter usually ends up changing her mind several times some mornings…if time allows! :)

I try to get up before my children (if possible!) and make a cup of coffee. A few minutes to myself – checking email or my favorite blogs – really helps me have a more happy demeanor when my children wake up and are raring to go!

To help manage morning craziness, I either get stuff out the night before so all I have to do is make sandwiches & put stuff in the lunchboxes OR most of the time I get up before the kids. That way, I can get a head start on the day AND I can have some “me” time & enjoy my nice, hot cup of coffee. Coffee helps me relax, think about the day ahead of me & warm me up on those COLD mornings!!!
