Win-It Wednesday: Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and New K-Cups!

November 10, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 2,351 Comments

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting a 24-hour giveaway to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve shared my thoughts on Keurig Single-Cup Brewers in the past, and I still love my Keurig just as much today.

I’m always up for trying new K-cup flavors, so I was happy to test drive the new Millstone and Folgers varieties.

Millstone coffee and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are made from the same high quality beans already available on-shelf in over 50 blends, and offer the exceptional taste that both brand’s passionate coffee drinkers have come to expect. The superior taste is the result of both brand’s precise “bean to cup” process that involves an intricate method of growing, roasting, and blending to ensure each cup of coffee delivers a unique coffee drinking experience.

I really enjoyed them, with the Folgers Black Silk K-cups being the one I liked the best. I like my coffee strong and bold, so this one was the closest to what I would typically buy. The Millstone Hazelnut K-cups were fun for a change of pace. They’re perfect for an after-dinner treat in lieu of a decadent dessert!

Millstone and Folgers Gourmet Selections K-Cup portion packs are available in the following flavors:

  • Millstone Breakfast Blend (Fair Trade Certified)
  • Millstone Hazelnut Cream
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Black Silk
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Lively Colombian Decaf
  • Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Keurig Single-Cup Brewer and four samples of the new Millstone and Folgers K-Cup varieties!

I try to do as much as I can the night before. Like filling water bottles for the kids lunches, putting the snacks in and even setting out my coffee mug!

To get my early mornings going, I get up when my children do, feed them, then I go for a cup of Joe or Mtn. Dew. Caffeine is a must have to get my busy day going! :)

Wow, how to manage a hectic morning, I think we have just had a routine for so long, we just know what each has to do and when and where. We all gather in the morning by 7:15 for devotions, and then breakfast. School starts early around here! Coffee is a must on hectic mornings when grandma and grandpa are here, as it is the only thing that helps them get going:)

We start our day off with prayer. We don’t even own a coffee pot we heat water in the microwave in order to make coffee. Coffee kind of just wakes us up on a sluggish day but we also try to incorporate some coffee free mornings into our routine.

My best tip for Making a hectic morning an easier one, is organizing the night before. All four kids get showers before bed and all their clothes are laid out and ready to out on the next day. My clothes are laid out as well, along with towel and everything I need to get ready. Partial school lunches are made and out in lunch boxes so all I have to fix is the sandwich in the morning. I get my coffee pot ready the night before so I just have to turn it on in the a.m., However, I never can get it to taste just right, either too strong or too weak. I also always make too much, and I hate being wasteful. I love a good cup of coffee, just not in my budget to go to the coffee shop every day! Would love to own this product. :)

I always have my coffee maker set to brew so that when I wake up I can grab a cup. I also make lunches and set out the next day’s clothes the night before. I have two young boys so a good routine helps get them both out of the house in time for school.

What has helped me manage the mornings the best is to get everyone’s outfits together the night before. The smell of a fresh gourmet cup of coffee helps my morning get started on the right foot.
