Win-It Wednesday: Joovy Nook Highchair!

June 9, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

If you’re in the market for a new high chair, the Joovy Nook should definitely be an option you look into. This thing is fantastic! My only regret is not finding it sooner so that I could have used it with more of my kids.

Some of my favorite features:

  • Folds up ultra compact — this is so important when you have a lot of baby gear and not a lot of room!
  • Five-point harness — my oldest boy was quite the Houdini, and I’m sure this feature would have kept him put. As it is, it keeps my two-year-old securely in place, and the padded straps look quite comfortable.
  • Swing-open tray — juggling a baby and a plate of food, all while trying to keep the dog from snatching a taste, is tough. The swing-open tray makes it easy to open with one hand, leaving your other hand free for wrangling!
  • Easy to clean — the leatherette version wipes clean easily, and the bright, cheery fabric covers can be tossed right in the washing machine!

Best of all the Joovy Nook just looks cool! I’m a sucker for contemporary design, and this is eye-catching, yet sturdy. Choose from black or white leatherette or orange or green fabric.

I would like to win the Joovy highchair for my 2 year old daughter. I think the swing-out feature on the highchair would be great! This feature would make it more practical to get your child into the seat and close, with one hand!! Neat! An added bonus is that it takes up less space, and if you don’t have much space to start with, this highchair would be fantastic!! The product peaked my interest. Carmen

I am currently in search of the perfect highchair for my son. Like your first son, my son is also quite the houdini he gets out of his walker and he is only 10 months old. So the 5 point harness would be the most important to keep him in.

First, safety, second how easy to clean & move from place to place. I’d love to win this for our church. We could really use it when we have breakfasts, dinners, etc. and it would give those parents who need to use a chance to relax and eat their own food!

I most look for useability – is it something that can be used as a booster seat when she’s ready to sit at the big kid table without her tray, is it easily portable for those long weekends away, etc. It looks like a really neat chair though!!

We have a small house so size is a factor. And it definitely needs to be easy to clean.

I have to have a high chair that is easily accessible and easy to clean, but doesn’t take up a lot of room. With two girls really close in age and both in high chairs, it makes it hard to use the big bulky chairs.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
