Win-It Wednesday: Joovy Nook Highchair!

June 9, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

If you’re in the market for a new high chair, the Joovy Nook should definitely be an option you look into. This thing is fantastic! My only regret is not finding it sooner so that I could have used it with more of my kids.

Some of my favorite features:

  • Folds up ultra compact — this is so important when you have a lot of baby gear and not a lot of room!
  • Five-point harness — my oldest boy was quite the Houdini, and I’m sure this feature would have kept him put. As it is, it keeps my two-year-old securely in place, and the padded straps look quite comfortable.
  • Swing-open tray — juggling a baby and a plate of food, all while trying to keep the dog from snatching a taste, is tough. The swing-open tray makes it easy to open with one hand, leaving your other hand free for wrangling!
  • Easy to clean — the leatherette version wipes clean easily, and the bright, cheery fabric covers can be tossed right in the washing machine!

Best of all the Joovy Nook just looks cool! I’m a sucker for contemporary design, and this is eye-catching, yet sturdy. Choose from black or white leatherette or orange or green fabric.

Joovy has a very special introductory offer for Deal Seeking Mom readers. Use the code nookintrospecial at checkout to score 30% off your purchase plus FREE continental shipping! Expires 7/15/10.

Easy to clean is the most important feature. The high chair we had for our first child was not easy to clean and ended up a huge mess. The folding feature makes this one even better!

I like the design of this highchair. I look for something that stores and cleans easily, but most importantly keeps them from escaping. Safety is a must.

I love a highchair that’s easy to clean…. kids always seem to make a mess in the most random places.

I want a highchair that will catch all the mess, wipe a face, wash hands, and maybe even change a diaper if that is not too much to ask.
    J/k I know that is a mom fantasy!! :)

Since I have infant twin boys and a two year old, as far as a high chair goes…I look for something that is spacesaving and easy to clean. I don’t have a lot of extra time or space, so these two things are really musts for our family!

Easy to clean is key! When you’ve got an active toddler like we do, you’ll have food in every nook and cranny of the high chair. One that doesn’t have all those little tiny, tiny areas that have to be cleaned with a little brush would be SWEET!

I love that it is compact…I don’t have much room in my kitchen so that would be very nice! I also am a neat/clean freak, so being easy to clean is always a plus with me!

i like the fact that this chair folds up for easy storage…we have a smaller home with little room for storage and with 3 children organization is a must!

I look for easy to clean AND I want something that folds up as well!
This would be PERFECT to match the green joovy sit and stand stroller that we already have :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
