Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

If you’re in the market for a new high chair, the Joovy Nook should definitely be an option you look into. This thing is fantastic! My only regret is not finding it sooner so that I could have used it with more of my kids.
Some of my favorite features:
- Folds up ultra compact — this is so important when you have a lot of baby gear and not a lot of room!
- Five-point harness — my oldest boy was quite the Houdini, and I’m sure this feature would have kept him put. As it is, it keeps my two-year-old securely in place, and the padded straps look quite comfortable.
- Swing-open tray — juggling a baby and a plate of food, all while trying to keep the dog from snatching a taste, is tough. The swing-open tray makes it easy to open with one hand, leaving your other hand free for wrangling!
- Easy to clean — the leatherette version wipes clean easily, and the bright, cheery fabric covers can be tossed right in the washing machine!
Best of all the Joovy Nook just looks cool! I’m a sucker for contemporary design, and this is eye-catching, yet sturdy. Choose from black or white leatherette or orange or green fabric.

I look for easy to clean, trendy, and safe. My 17 month old is a mover, and if I can keep him from climbing out and keep him clean while eating, its a plus!

Since my kitchen area isn’t the largest, I am looking for a high chair that folds up neatly so I have more space! This one looks like it should do the job! :)

I love that this folds up! We have a small condo and space is limited. We need something that can be easily put away if needed. But safety is our main concern and 5 point is a must!

So, it has to look good, let’s just get that out of the way. It just has to. I’m an adult who cares about how my home looks and having kids just means I get to shop for more things to fit the style I love.
Having a toddler I’ve realized it also has to be climb safe and super sturdy. He will climb, lean and hang from anything that is available and hasn’t learned the rules of the physical world yet. If a chair can’t live up to that, I will not put my son in it.
And third, it would be good to have it be fairly easy to fit into the car so I can bring it when my friends who don’t have kids yet invite us over for dinner.
I wanted a Tripp Trapp so bad, couldn’t afford it but found a very similar chair. It lives up to the first two criteria but totally fails on the third. Actually we tried it and the chair broke :-(
