We love peanut butter on a day-to-day basis, but when the holidays roll around, peanut butter doesn’t just spread between PB&Js. It becomes the star of several of our holiday baking traditions. Jif wants you to share what ways you incorporate peanut butter into your holiday baking and cooking in the Jif Holiday Spread Contest, which runs through January 17, 2011 for a chance to win a $10,000 kitchen makeover. Enter both savory and sweet dishes. Perhaps you have a killer Thai peanut sauce that you make for your annual New Year’s party, or maybe your peanut butter blossoms are so incredible that no other can compete.

    I make peanut butter bars with chocolate icing (melted chocolate chips) every year!! Always get requests for that bar!! Delicious!! Plus, my kids eat lots of PB&J sandwiches, regardless of the time of year!! Peanut butter with apples or bananas with chocolate chips…

    Other than just eating it off a spoon? Ha! I stuff pitted dates with peanut butter and then dip them in coconut. As odd as it sounds, they are delicious!

    I already “Like” you on FB, but I use JIF (and only JIF!) to make the best Buckeyes ever with a recipe a friend gave me many years ago! And I also “Like” JIF on FB–hoping it’ll sang me some coupons along the way!
