I love my coffee to have a nice, bold flavor, and I go to great lengths to seek out that espresso-like cup, which often ends in disappointment. You see, there is often a fine line between bold and bitter. So it’s no surprise that Folgers has a line that is both bold and smooth, Black Silk, it had me interested.

As its name suggests, Black Silk has a full, robust flavor and hints of smokiness. Folgers says this smooth finish will even convince non-bold coffee drinkers to fall for a cup of dark roast and make it “The Best Park of Wakin’ Up.” Black Silk is available ground or in K-Cups for your Keurig Brewer.

    I have to have my coffee in the morning! My husband has Alzheimer’s, and sometimes I have little to no sleep overnight; at those times, I really need a strong, smooth cup of coffee!

    I have 4 kids, 2 of which are special needs. Sleepless nights are common in our home. Having a good cup of coffee is sometimes what it takes to keep going through out the day.

    I need the bold rich taste to get me up at 5AM in the mornings, so I can handle my “special” 4yr old little boy who really doesn’t want to be getting up this early for school, but after 30mins of ummm, let’s say a rough discussion he is ready for his bus at 6am,then it it time for me to get 2 of my other children up and have another great tasting cup for I need the boost. These two get on the bus at 7. Then my 3yr old wakes around 9am and we learn some new sign language or we continue working on some he hasn’t quite mastered yet, or his home speech teacher comes and works with him either way my day is usually full! That’s just the mornings, my evenings are filled with homework and practice! Oh its great being a single mom! I love all my boys!

    i want to try folgers black silk because my b/f is stuck on maxwell house and claims its the best coffee and i just want to find something out there diffrent to prove to him that theres a chance he could be wrong

    Either I was in a test market or Black Silk is not new – it’s my favorite Folgers Coffee. (I like my coffee bold and black, lol)
