I love my coffee to have a nice, bold flavor, and I go to great lengths to seek out that espresso-like cup, which often ends in disappointment. You see, there is often a fine line between bold and bitter. So it’s no surprise that Folgers has a line that is both bold and smooth, Black Silk, it had me interested.

As its name suggests, Black Silk has a full, robust flavor and hints of smokiness. Folgers says this smooth finish will even convince non-bold coffee drinkers to fall for a cup of dark roast and make it “The Best Park of Wakin’ Up.” Black Silk is available ground or in K-Cups for your Keurig Brewer.

    I really like Bold coffee. If it’s weak it does not wake me up and I need a couple BIG strong cups every morning.

    I start the day off by hurrying to take a shower, followed by ironing everyone’s clothes for the day, making lunches and being out the door before 8 to take everyone off to where they need to be! I too love bold coffee but often settle for something that is cheaper because I drink it so often to keep me going through the day once everyone gets home, dinner needs to be made, house chores need to be done I probably have about 4 cups! I would not only this coffee but I would appreciate it very much!

    I prefer a darker roast coffee, something that is still mocha colored when I put in my froo-froo girlie flavored creamers. I cannot afford Starbucks anymore, so anything I can do to recreate it at home is a plus. I have tried this brand of coffee and it is great.
