Full of great features for keeping track of those special back to school memories, the 1st Day app does it all:

  • Create photo collages, add quotes or captions, and organize your photos by date, child or album.
  • Share your 1st day memories with friends and family. They can even download and print the photos themselves.

And one of my favorite features is that for every picture uploaded, Elmer’s will donate one product to the Kids In Need Foundation which provides free school supplies to students nationwide!

A couple of weeks ago, Elmer’s invited my family to a Columbus Clippers game where they officially debuted the new mobile app and corresponding 1st Day website. We had a blast hanging out with the folks from Elmer’s and cheering on our Clippers against the Norfolk Tides.

We even got to meet Elmer himself — pictured with Krash the crazy parrot! Sadly I didn’t manage to wrangle all of the kids together to get a group photo.

    My favorite way to celebrate the first day of school is to make sure my daughter gets a good night sleep, wake her up a bit early, prepare an awesome breakfast for her and then walk her to her classroom.

    I usually buy or make a cute treat like cupcakes or a cake and we talk about the kid’s exciting day.

    Went to Facebook and liked Elmers and deal seeking mom but also on 1st day of school we get up a little earlier then usual have a special breakfast and then give each kid a hug and kiss and tell them to have a good day at school before they go out for the bus
