A couple of weeks ago, Elmer’s invited my family to a Columbus Clippers game where they officially debuted the new mobile app and corresponding 1st Day website. We had a blast hanging out with the folks from Elmer’s and cheering on our Clippers against the Norfolk Tides.

We even got to meet Elmer himself — pictured with Krash the crazy parrot! Sadly I didn’t manage to wrangle all of the kids together to get a group photo.

    I know that the first day of school is always a day out for a snow cone to celebrate that first day! We start the day with pictures and video walking in to school and one with the new teacher. The first day is a family event.

    I love walking my kids to class and seeing them settle in and take pictures of their first day

    On the first day of school I always take my baby’s picture, well she’s 14 now but still my baby. I sit her in the same place with the same pose every year. Now she’s a freshman in high school and i will continue until her senior year!

    Well, we are homeschoolers, so we don’t do “school” in the traditional way as public schoolers, but we enjoy a day of fun & learning & getting to show Daddy what we did.

    I like to fix their favorite breakfast, take a picture before school in their uniform,drive them to school and leave a special note in their lunchbox to let them know I am thinking of them.
