I’ve been a fan of Dyson products for years now. Yes, many of their products do come with a price tag that’s a bit hard to swallow, but the quality, longevity, and warranty that comes with all Dyson products is pretty hard to beat. In fact, our new home has a central vacuum system, and I’ve never turned it on — that’s how much I love my Dyson!

The Dyson DC41 Animal is the latest in a long line of Dyson innovation. It takes all of the features that I love about my DC25 Ball All-Floors vacuum — maneuverability, strong suction, convenience, and more — and pushes them to the next level.

Some of my favorite improvements are the redesign of the push-button bin emptying and the mini turbine head that makes cleaning the upholstery, stairs and the car a breeze. What I really find fascinating is how they managed to cram even more of the extraneous parts into the ball itself, making it easier than ever to get into those tight spaces!

    I use few different ones. A super cheapo Bissel on the wood floors and a Kenmore for the carpet. And then there’s always the shop vac for my hubby’s “man cave” and the garage. =)

    I currently use a Shark system. It works pretty well on my dog hair, though not as good as the Dyson I borrowed from my mom!

    An OLD Hoover passed on from my Nana. I would love a new vacuum, but since this one hasn’t quit yet …..

    I have the older version of the Dyson Animal. With two dogs and two toddlers it was worth every penny. I do find myself wanting the new Dyson with the “ball” technology since I hear it’s lighter and easier to move.
