I’ve been a fan of Dyson products for years now. Yes, many of their products do come with a price tag that’s a bit hard to swallow, but the quality, longevity, and warranty that comes with all Dyson products is pretty hard to beat. In fact, our new home has a central vacuum system, and I’ve never turned it on — that’s how much I love my Dyson!

The Dyson DC41 Animal is the latest in a long line of Dyson innovation. It takes all of the features that I love about my DC25 Ball All-Floors vacuum — maneuverability, strong suction, convenience, and more — and pushes them to the next level.

Some of my favorite improvements are the redesign of the push-button bin emptying and the mini turbine head that makes cleaning the upholstery, stairs and the car a breeze. What I really find fascinating is how they managed to cram even more of the extraneous parts into the ball itself, making it easier than ever to get into those tight spaces!

    I use a Hoover TurboEmpower 4600. We got it when we got married, almost 6 years ago. It misses a lot of dirt…. :/

    the vacuum i have been using since mine broke is my husbands shop vac :( although it has the power to do the steps its not the easiest thing to lug around ..

    I currently use a Kenmore Progressive (from Sears) that we bought about 10 years ago…Before child #4 was adopted and before we had pets in the house. This sweeper does NOT keep up with my family and pets and stairs and couches. I need a new sweeper so desperately that this would be such a huge blessing! Thank you “Deal Seeking Mom” for helping my family save in so many ways.

    I have a Hoover and it just doesn’t get all the pet hair off my carpets. I used to borrow my neighbor’s Dyson Animal because it was so superior to my Hoover, then we moved…..it would be great to have an Animal of my own!

    I have a Hoover windtunnel that just gave out. We have been sweeping the floor since it broke. Would love to have a Dyson.

    I have a Dyson, had it for 5 years now and would LOVE a new one. They came out with the ball shortly after I bought mine and I wished that I had waited. We just got one at work and I was just telling my husband I wanted a new one. They are the best!

    Recently, we started using the Hoover SH40060 (Multi-cyclonic) Canister Vacuum, which replaced my Hoover Wind-tunnel a couple of weeks ago. We’ve got four dogs (2 of which are Danes – and shed a LOT), and 2 cats – so we’re always on the lookout for a great vacuum. I’d LOVE to get the Dyson Animal to help us fight back all the pet hair and to finally have a a long-term option, rather than having to get a new vacuum every year or so!

    I currently have a hoover that is supposed to be good for pet hair since we have 2 dogs but it doesn’t work that great. A dyson would be wonderful!
