I’ve been a fan of Dyson products for years now. Yes, many of their products do come with a price tag that’s a bit hard to swallow, but the quality, longevity, and warranty that comes with all Dyson products is pretty hard to beat. In fact, our new home has a central vacuum system, and I’ve never turned it on — that’s how much I love my Dyson!

The Dyson DC41 Animal is the latest in a long line of Dyson innovation. It takes all of the features that I love about my DC25 Ball All-Floors vacuum — maneuverability, strong suction, convenience, and more — and pushes them to the next level.

Some of my favorite improvements are the redesign of the push-button bin emptying and the mini turbine head that makes cleaning the upholstery, stairs and the car a breeze. What I really find fascinating is how they managed to cram even more of the extraneous parts into the ball itself, making it easier than ever to get into those tight spaces!

    I use the Dyson I was given as a birthday present six years ago (it’s made it through 6 animals) and I love it. The roller ball design on the new ones makes me envious.

    I’m using a Hoover windtunnel. With 5 animals running around, winning the Dyson would be amazing!

    I use right now a bissel but not as good as a dyson but right now can’t afford Dyson.

    I use a Bissell that’s self propelled. As long as you go a certain way it’s great but if you try to go a different way it fights you. I have Fibromyalgia so I need something very lightweight. I also have 2 cats and a dog so I need something powerful to get that hair!!

    I currently own a Dyson Animal and have had it for about 8 years now. Unfortunately, some of the parts are breaking (they are plastic). I now have to use a bungy cord and wrap it around the extended hose/handle so I can use the handle to push the vacuum. It still works great. I need to find replaceable parts though. Dyson’s are by far the best vacuum I have ever had.
