Win-It Wednesday: DYMO Label Manager (5 Winners!)!

September 15, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

As you can see from the image above, organization is not one of my strong points. My workspace is best described as chaotic, and more than once I’ve had to frantically sift through papers and whatnot in search of that great coupon I have that I know is expiring soon.

But that’s all about to change now that the kids are back in school. My husband and I have some big projects in the works to clear the clutter from our house and make our living space more functional for our family of seven (more on this to come), and I’m getting started in my office with a little help from the DYMO Label Manager.

See those awesome boxes that I got at IKEA behind the Label Manager in the photo? I’m planning to fill those with the many magazines, tear sheets, recipes and more that are cluttering my shelves right now. And then, of course, I’ll be labeling them with this fantastic little gadget. I seriously love this thing! I label everything, right down to the kids’ toothbrushes, and the DYMO Label Manager makes it super quick and easy.

I was able to organize and label my coupon insert files in under five minutes:

The DYMO Label Manager has tons of features and options, but my favorite is the ability to save custom labels. Now I can create a custom label for each of my kids and easily print them as I need them!

Stay tuned for pictures of my newly organized office — I’m hoping that posting my mess for the whole world to see will give me a little accountability…

Five lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a DYMO Label Manager 260p!

To enter, tell me what you’d use the Label Manager for first.

Wow – what would I label first? I would have to label all the containers and boxes that are in the basement. I have to open them every time I need to find out what is inside them.

What a wonderful tool! I would definitely start with my kids’ rooms. My son makes sure that his trains and trucks don’t get mixed up and are in the right bins. He’s also at the age of learning to read and recoginizing letters and words, this would be a way to help him continue learning his letters while picking up! HOlding us all accountable of not putting the wrong toy in the bin!

I can also use the labelmaker to make name labels for my kids so that when my Husband is calling to one of them, he might have a better chance at getting their name right. LOL

Poor guy, he is terrible with names.

first thing I’d label is all those boxes of photos that are sorted (sort of) by year or event but have no labels so I still have to open them to find what I’m looking for! hahaha…I SO need a label maker!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
