Win-It Wednesday: Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Prize Pack and $100 Babies ‘R’ Us Gift Card!

April 7, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

The following review is from the Deal Seeking Mom project administrator, Mandi Ehman:

With four little ones, we’ve had at least one (and often two) in diapers for the past five-and-a-half years. Although we thankfully haven’t dealt with diaper rash too often during that time, my two-year-old has “toddler diarrhea” (sounds fun, doesn’t it?), and we’ve definitely been dealing with it more often over the past six months than the rest of our tenure as parents.

I was excited to try Boudreaux’s Butt Paste this week, especially the new All Natural formulation.
The Boudreaux products rank fairly well on the Skin Deep cosmetic safety rating scale already, but the All Natural formulation goes even further, replacing the boric acid in the original formulation with beeswax, carnauba wax, hydrogenated castor oil and aloe vera.

The All Natural ointment and skin protectant rubs in clear, and I think it would also provide a wonderful layer of protection on my girls’ faces against the winter wind that usually leaves them chapped.

As for my two-year-old, she refers to the tube of Butt Paste as “my cream”, and insists I put it on with each diaper change. We haven’t had any more diaper rashes over the past couple of days, which is saying something with a little girl who refuses to tell us when she needs her diaper changed!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win (3) 2-oz. tubes of Boudreaux’s Original Butt Paste, (3) 2-oz. tubes of Boudreaux’s All Natural Butt Paste, (3) 2-oz. cans of Boudreaux’s Butt Protector Spray, and a $100 gift card to Babies ‘R’ Us (courtesy of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste)!

To enter, tell me which product(s) you use to soothe diaper rash on your little one.

I’m a new grandmother and use the Butt paste on my granddaughter all the time. She is teething and getting a bad diaper rash. I love this Butt paste. It works great on adults to in the summer time with chafing.

My son has a very sensitive butt (his doctor said that it’s normal with breastfeed babies) so I make my own baby butt cream!

This would make THE dandiest baby shower gift ever! Enter me! When my kids were babies, Butt Paste didn’t exist. The best product back then seemed to be A & D Ointment.

I have used Bourdreaux products (baby wash, ointment cream & diaper rash cream) on my toddler since she was an infant and they are better than other brands. The diaper rash cream helps protect her skin against too much moisture especially overnight. I have also used A&D ointment in the diaper area but found that it has been better to soothe my daughters dry skin.

I tried loads of creams and ointments for my daughter and cornstarch proved to be the proven winner of all of them!

My son had THE WORST diaper rash over Easter weekend…so bad there were spots that even broke the skin…Boudreauxs original butt paste healed the rash within a couple days. But, most importantly to me…he didn’t mind when I would put it on the rash. He even asked for it (2 years old). So, it obviously is gentle enough that it doesn’t burn the skin…even very raw, irritated skin.

I am expecting baby #2 any day now (I’m 38 weeks) and diaper rash cream is one thing we haven’t bought yet! I have no idea what to get. With my older daughter, we used Northern Essence All Natural Diaper Rash Salve – which is awesome, but gets very expensive. So I’m looking for a cheaper alternative – and I wanted to try Boudreaux’s products anyway!

My little girl is has really sensitive skin and is soo susceptible to diaper rash that we probably use a tube of Walmart’s version of basic A&D a month. With every single diaper change we apply the basic ointment, and if we start to see some redness….we go for the zinc based version of A&D!

I’ve never tried Boudreaux’s products. But would like to them out. I usually just use A& D or Destin. But always willing to try anything new.

A friend introduced Bourdreaux Butt Paste to me with baby #4. It is the only thing that keeps his butt free and clear from diaper rash. It seems like miracle paste. I am very grateful, but wish I had it with the previous 3 babies : )!

My daughter is almost 3 and has had several diaper rashes….nothing ever touches it except butt paste. Every time she starts to hurt now she runs and yells ” I need my paste!” . I will continue to use this great product on my new son as well.
