Win-It Wednesday: Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Prize Pack and $100 Babies ‘R’ Us Gift Card!

April 7, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting several 24-hour giveaways throughout the day to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

The following review is from the Deal Seeking Mom project administrator, Mandi Ehman:

With four little ones, we’ve had at least one (and often two) in diapers for the past five-and-a-half years. Although we thankfully haven’t dealt with diaper rash too often during that time, my two-year-old has “toddler diarrhea” (sounds fun, doesn’t it?), and we’ve definitely been dealing with it more often over the past six months than the rest of our tenure as parents.

I was excited to try Boudreaux’s Butt Paste this week, especially the new All Natural formulation.
The Boudreaux products rank fairly well on the Skin Deep cosmetic safety rating scale already, but the All Natural formulation goes even further, replacing the boric acid in the original formulation with beeswax, carnauba wax, hydrogenated castor oil and aloe vera.

The All Natural ointment and skin protectant rubs in clear, and I think it would also provide a wonderful layer of protection on my girls’ faces against the winter wind that usually leaves them chapped.

As for my two-year-old, she refers to the tube of Butt Paste as “my cream”, and insists I put it on with each diaper change. We haven’t had any more diaper rashes over the past couple of days, which is saying something with a little girl who refuses to tell us when she needs her diaper changed!

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win (3) 2-oz. tubes of Boudreaux’s Original Butt Paste, (3) 2-oz. tubes of Boudreaux’s All Natural Butt Paste, (3) 2-oz. cans of Boudreaux’s Butt Protector Spray, and a $100 gift card to Babies ‘R’ Us (courtesy of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste)!

To enter, tell me which product(s) you use to soothe diaper rash on your little one.

My 4 month was just put on an antibiotic which caused a severe diaper rash. I used a combination of triple paste and aquaphor and it cleared up right away.

Still a huge fan of A&D ointment and Desitin. A&D is great for “booboos” and Desitin can’t be beat for diaper rash.

While my children are grown now I have 6 beautiful grandchildren. I used Desitin for my girls when they were babies and its still my favorite. I haven’t tried the “butt paste” but my daughter may have tried it on my 6 month old grandson.

I use A&D ointment. It’s also good for those slits that you get near your nails in the winter.

I use Butt Paste for all my diaper rash. I know it is more expensive, but I think it is the best and my pediatrician recommends it!

After receiving different ointments at baby showers for all 3 of my children, I have tried just about every kind of ointment out there. Most recently, we have been using Balmex and Butt Paste. We actually kept a tube of Butt Paste for my 3 year old daughter who would sometimes get a rash from not wiping well. She would ask for it herself when she needed it b/c she knew it worked so well!

I’m a huge fan of Dr. Smith’s. After not having luck with Desitin & A&D, a friend recommended Dr. Smith’s to me & it cleared up my son’s diaper rash within 24 hours. I’ve heard great things about butt paste, but have never used it, so it would be great to try it out. Thanks!
