With four little ones, we’ve had at least one (and often two) in diapers for the past five-and-a-half years. Although we thankfully haven’t dealt with diaper rash too often during that time, my two-year-old has “toddler diarrhea” (sounds fun, doesn’t it?), and we’ve definitely been dealing with it more often over the past six months than the rest of our tenure as parents.

I was excited to try Boudreaux’s Butt Paste this week, especially the new All Natural formulation.
The Boudreaux products rank fairly well on the Skin Deep cosmetic safety rating scale already, but the All Natural formulation goes even further, replacing the boric acid in the original formulation with beeswax, carnauba wax, hydrogenated castor oil and aloe vera.

The All Natural ointment and skin protectant rubs in clear, and I think it would also provide a wonderful layer of protection on my girls’ faces against the winter wind that usually leaves them chapped.

As for my two-year-old, she refers to the tube of Butt Paste as “my cream”, and insists I put it on with each diaper change. We haven’t had any more diaper rashes over the past couple of days, which is saying something with a little girl who refuses to tell us when she needs her diaper changed!

    I use A&D b/c that’s what my mom used. We have not had to deal with any diaper rashes. I have been curious about Butt Paste b/c of the interesting name.

    I don’t use butt paste because I’m only 4 months along with my first pregnancy. I do however, give butt paste with all of my gift baskets at baby showers because the name always gets a good conversation going. I would love to win this giveaway as I could really stock up for our little one who’s coming in September!

    I’m going to be using diaper cream again very soon. We use Boudreaux’s butt paste with our first and it lasted a long time. Actually thinking about it, we got some balmex for our shower and when that small bottle ran out, we went with the butt paste. I only had to buy that one tube and I think I still have some left. I must say, we liked using air to soothe a rash the best.

    I used Weleda Calendula cream on my first child, but now that I’m pregnant again I think I’ll just use whatever I can get my hands on. No more expensive stuff for me. Can’t afford it!

    I love the name Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. I’m glad to see there’s a natural version now. That’s what we used for my oldest’s diaper rash. Luckily, the baby hasn’t had a diaper rash yet (knock on wood).

    Love Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. First laughed at the name but decided to try it. Very happy with it. Also put it on baby’s neck and cheeks to sooth the irritation from constant drooling

    I have used Burt’s Bees Diaper Cream for my two boys (similar to Butt Paste, I think). I know there is a BIG difference between Desitin and products like Butte Paste. I would love to try this out…and the BRU gift card….oh, the possibilities!!! Thanks!

    Whatever I can get cheapest, though I try to stay away from off-brand names. I’m currently using Aveeno. I would prefer Butt Paste (I love that it’s not WHITE!), but I haven’t seen a coupon for a long while!
