Win-It Wednesday: $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree + FREE Shipping!

August 25, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of LNT.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you had $500 to spend at Linens ‘N Things, where would you start? Me, I’d probably go straight for a nice sheet set. Sheets are one of those items that I don’t replace nearly as often as I should, and treating myself to a luxurious thread count would be divine. Then, because I love to cook, I’d head straight for the kitchen textiles, stocking up on new dishtowels and napkins and all those other things that five kids tend to stain with their spills and random sticky fingers, but that I avoid replacing for far too long.

The new Linens ‘N Things carries a huge range of products, including baby gear to furniture and even scrapbooking supplies! I was amazed at the breadth of products they had available, and I now have a new place to look for Halloween costumes for my kids. With hundreds of items marked down and a huge selection to choose from, I’ll definitely be checking here often for all the household essentials I need.

***Before the end of the month you can save $10 off $50 when you use coupon code AUGWHITE2010 at checkout and take advantage of the $0.99 flat-rate shipping going on now.*** Then, through 9/15 you can get FREE shipping when you use coupon code LNTFREE at checkout! This offer can’t be stacked with other offers, but it can be used with their fabulous sale prices and clearance section.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree with FREE Shipping!

To enter, tell me what you would get with a $500 Shopping Spree to Linens ‘N Things.

Definitely sheets for my kids’ beds. I only have a set each right now and have to make sure I get them washed and dried before bedtime. My husband and I could also use a new comforter. We are using a flannel blanket my mom got us as a wedding gift years ago. A mattress pad would also be nice, considering how old our mattress is – it was my grandparents’. We have NO curtains up at all. It would be wonderful to have some privacy, and not have the sun shining in our faces every morning. We barely own anything new, just to go shopping would be a pleasure!

I would get a new bed in a bag and new stuff for my bathroom. I would also get some new cool sheets for my boys rooms. $500 could go a long way with me!

I became a mom a little over 7 weeks ago and I’m finding out quickly that organization is key. I’d buy all kinds of organizational storage items for my son. I’d also splurge and get some luxurious towels and candles for the rare moment I might get to soak in our garden tub.

    Linens! Mine are ancient.

  21. Tara H

I would redecorate. We want to sell the house soon and it could some “freshening” up!

  24. Meghan

    August 25, 2010 at 2:43 pm

All of our everyday glassware and dishes that we received as wedding gifts have already chipped or broken… we desperately need to replace them!

  25. Kim

    August 25, 2010 at 2:43 pm

Lost my house in January due to the recession, me being off work for 2 months with a new baby, and a husband who is an addict. A lot of what we own is second hand or from Freecycle. I would start with my kids rooms. Give them great rooms where their imaginations can soar!

I would buy new dishes to replace the 30 year old set I inherited from my parents that my husband believes doesn’t need replacing because they are still usable!!!!

  28. Melissa Grieve

    August 25, 2010 at 2:44 pm

Sheets for our bed, and for our boy’s beds!! I would also love to purchase a new toaster for the kitchen :)

  29. Kella

    August 25, 2010 at 2:44 pm

First on the list would be a new comforter! The hubby and I upgraded to a king from a queen and only upgraded the sheets with it, so we fight for the comforter at night! Next on the list would be bath towels and rugs! I don’t have a single full set of towels and the floor is bare and cold to my freshly cleaned feet!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
