Win-It Wednesday: $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree + FREE Shipping!

August 25, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of LNT.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you had $500 to spend at Linens ‘N Things, where would you start? Me, I’d probably go straight for a nice sheet set. Sheets are one of those items that I don’t replace nearly as often as I should, and treating myself to a luxurious thread count would be divine. Then, because I love to cook, I’d head straight for the kitchen textiles, stocking up on new dishtowels and napkins and all those other things that five kids tend to stain with their spills and random sticky fingers, but that I avoid replacing for far too long.

The new Linens ‘N Things carries a huge range of products, including baby gear to furniture and even scrapbooking supplies! I was amazed at the breadth of products they had available, and I now have a new place to look for Halloween costumes for my kids. With hundreds of items marked down and a huge selection to choose from, I’ll definitely be checking here often for all the household essentials I need.

***Before the end of the month you can save $10 off $50 when you use coupon code AUGWHITE2010 at checkout and take advantage of the $0.99 flat-rate shipping going on now.*** Then, through 9/15 you can get FREE shipping when you use coupon code LNTFREE at checkout! This offer can’t be stacked with other offers, but it can be used with their fabulous sale prices and clearance section.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree with FREE Shipping!

To enter, tell me what you would get with a $500 Shopping Spree to Linens ‘N Things.

Wow! That would be a blast! I would start with new bedding for our room ~ sheets, comforter ~ the works!! Next, I would move to the linen closet and replace the bath towels. After that we would move to the kitchen. I would pick up some new gadgets, things like apple peelers and those quirky little tools you don’t really need, but they would be fun to have in the drawer. I’m sure by now, the money would be gone. Too fun!

I would definitely buy sheets. I only have one set of king size sheets. I would also like to have a new comforter. Have been married 19 years and haven’t had a new one since I’ve been married :D

I would stock up on some Laura Ashley towels and bedding. I would also have to look at their bathroom decor and find some new stuff for my boy’s bathroom. :)

I would start with bathroom towels, not because it’s what we need most, it’s just that I could! Ridiculously, we are in our mid thirties with 3 kids and still using the towels that my mom handed down to us. I watch my husband stretch out the gathered fabric everytime they come out of the dryer :) There is always something more important to spend money on.

I’d have no problem spending this one! I’d buy new sheets, some curtains, new kitchen towels, at least 2 tablecloths & napkin sets (i have 1 old stained tablecloth and have never had a set of napkins- that’s terrible!), some nice towels, and then more sheets if I had any extra but i’m sure i would have gone through this all by then!

500 dollars at Linens & Things! My mind goes out of control! We have to get new sheets for our deep mattress…Haven’t had good fitting ones in 2 years (since we lost our LNT store here and they were the only place in town that carried the ones I love.) …We need to replace all of our towels and washrags, we still have some we got when we were married 6 years ago!! New bookcases for my kids’ books, they have so many books they’ve worn down their shelf already! Then with what is left I’d get picture frames so I can FINALLY hang photos of my babies up on the walls so we have a family wall for all to see!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
