Win-It Wednesday: $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree + FREE Shipping!

August 25, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of LNT.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you had $500 to spend at Linens ‘N Things, where would you start? Me, I’d probably go straight for a nice sheet set. Sheets are one of those items that I don’t replace nearly as often as I should, and treating myself to a luxurious thread count would be divine. Then, because I love to cook, I’d head straight for the kitchen textiles, stocking up on new dishtowels and napkins and all those other things that five kids tend to stain with their spills and random sticky fingers, but that I avoid replacing for far too long.

The new Linens ‘N Things carries a huge range of products, including baby gear to furniture and even scrapbooking supplies! I was amazed at the breadth of products they had available, and I now have a new place to look for Halloween costumes for my kids. With hundreds of items marked down and a huge selection to choose from, I’ll definitely be checking here often for all the household essentials I need.

***Before the end of the month you can save $10 off $50 when you use coupon code AUGWHITE2010 at checkout and take advantage of the $0.99 flat-rate shipping going on now.*** Then, through 9/15 you can get FREE shipping when you use coupon code LNTFREE at checkout! This offer can’t be stacked with other offers, but it can be used with their fabulous sale prices and clearance section.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree with FREE Shipping!

To enter, tell me what you would get with a $500 Shopping Spree to Linens ‘N Things.

OMG! What wouldn’t I buy?! We need so much for our fixer upper house. Curtains would be nice. A frying pan that the food doesn’t stick to anymore would be great too. Insulated glasses, organizational items for the house, a stainless trash can, new comforter set for the master bedroom, etc. I could go on and on and on. I hope I win!!!

I think I would be overwhelmed with the idea of having $500 to spend anywhere! But new sheets and towels are always good, as is kitchen equipment. All those gadgets that look really cool but you don’t think people really use.

No question about it- I would buy a new comforter set for our bedroom. My husband has been complaining about our old set that we had when we were first married ten years ago. Every Christmas I swear I will surprise him with a new one, but every Christmas comes and the money goes towards the kids and family. I would love to be able to surprise him one day with a brand new spruced up bedroom. Maybe it will spruce our relationship up too!

I’d buy new utensils, new pans, and new bedding for my guest bedroom

  28. Nancy

    August 25, 2010 at 10:07 pm

wow. i havent read all the entries but i myself would go to a homeless shelter for new moms and find out what size sheets i could donate there, so that these new mom’s could really feel comfortable at the end of what has to be an awfully lonely and emotionally draining day. just imagine how hard/depressing it must be – living in a shelter at a time in your life when it is suppose to be the happiest?

I would buy some sheets, bath towels and a ton of baby gear

I’d get new sheets (the nice, expensive ones!) and new pillows and a duvet cover for our bed.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
