    My 13 year old and I moved in to my grandma’s one bedroom house after she passed away last year and have been sharing a bedroom. My dad and I are in the process of turning the garage into a bedroom for me. I’d use the 500 dollars to buy linens and such for the kidlet’s bedroom. Maybe a new comforter for myself as well.

    I would start finding a duvet set and coordinating pillows. I had no idea HOW expensive duvet covers were until looking for them this past spring!

    I would buy much needed sheets for all the beds in my house and some new towels. If anything was left over it would go toward new comforter for my bed!

    Oh to walk into a Linens & Things and see all those nice neatly folded shelves up shelves colored sheet I think I could feel a small tear start to form in my eye. Our 3 babies recently did a little too much tug of war with our sheets and some of our comforters. Their ages are 2,15 months and 11 months. They love our bedding and put it in the floor, roll around in and drag it to the next room just so proud of their work. All this may sound innocent but our 3 babies are rottweilers that find chewing on sheet corners, or the or the corners where all materail meets is the best. The rott/black n tan hound mix we have likes to shred comforters, remove all the fluffiness and then lay in it.Nothing like a bed covered to look like a big dog is floating in a cloud. So the entire bedding section would be my pick so that our 3 beds can finally have something sacred as the chewers are 1 1/2 ways out of it.They are finally getting the hard chew balls broke in enough. So please we’re right on the verge of needing some bedding- the timing would be perfect!!!

    $500!! Wow. I could replace all of our crazy mis-matched towels that we have somehow accumulated over the last decade. I would also buy my hubby a new heated blanket for his side of the bed…. so that he can roast and I can sleep!! I would also order new dishes… mine are plastic and “worn”. Now that my kids are getting older… I want some “grown up” dishes!

    I would buy new curtains for my house. We only put up mini blinds when we moved in 5 years ago and then things got really tough so we just made due. I would love to dress things up and coordinated. Only place I have set of curtains is in kitchen.
