Win-It Wednesday: $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree + FREE Shipping!

August 25, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of LNT.com. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you had $500 to spend at Linens ‘N Things, where would you start? Me, I’d probably go straight for a nice sheet set. Sheets are one of those items that I don’t replace nearly as often as I should, and treating myself to a luxurious thread count would be divine. Then, because I love to cook, I’d head straight for the kitchen textiles, stocking up on new dishtowels and napkins and all those other things that five kids tend to stain with their spills and random sticky fingers, but that I avoid replacing for far too long.

The new Linens ‘N Things carries a huge range of products, including baby gear to furniture and even scrapbooking supplies! I was amazed at the breadth of products they had available, and I now have a new place to look for Halloween costumes for my kids. With hundreds of items marked down and a huge selection to choose from, I’ll definitely be checking here often for all the household essentials I need.

***Before the end of the month you can save $10 off $50 when you use coupon code AUGWHITE2010 at checkout and take advantage of the $0.99 flat-rate shipping going on now.*** Then, through 9/15 you can get FREE shipping when you use coupon code LNTFREE at checkout! This offer can’t be stacked with other offers, but it can be used with their fabulous sale prices and clearance section.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $500 Linens ‘N Things Shopping Spree with FREE Shipping!

To enter, tell me what you would get with a $500 Shopping Spree to Linens ‘N Things.

Oh, I know exactly what I’d buy – blackout curtains! We live on a busy street, so at night even with the regular curtains closed, it isn’t too dark. Replacing curtains in a whole house is pretty expensive though.

I would definitely buy new sheets for all our beds but, most importantly, I would buy everyone my son needs at college. He needs towels – bath size, hand size and facecloths. He would need at least 2 sets of sheets, 2 new fluffy pillows, a comforter and oh, one of those body pillows, ya know, those very long ones that you can cuddle with. A shower curtain and liner plus bath essentials like a hand lotion dispenser. The list for college is endless so this would definitely come in handy!!! Thanks, sure hope I win!!! WOW,i just got done “window shopping”online at Linen’s n things!! It was alot of fun to decide what i would need if i had $500,,My house looks so plain with just regular blinds in the window,so id spend about $200 on some nice curtains to bring out the living room colors.I would buy 4 Brentwood chair pads at $50 for my dinning room table because its just so plain. With $75 i’d buy a few sofa fancy pillows for my sofa and chair.I really need bath towels so i’d use $50 on the large biege color towels. The kids could use some more school supplies with a desk lamp for about $40.I saw a medical organizer at $40 i would love to keep up with the family medical info.,and with the remaining,i would purchase an office chair for my desk $44.
I would then write a review for Linens n Things for $15 off $150,and the 20%off coupon code for the school bells ring.Everything with the $2’99 flate rate shipping.

To bad this was all just my imagination!!! lol
    Thanks,Shannon F

After being displaced in from a fire, we moved 18 hours to our new home in S.C. , on August 1st (24 days ago) and need plenty of items from dishes and silverware to sheets and curtains to bathroom items and a vacuum,as well as all the little things that make life simpler, something as simple as a potato peeler or a different gadget to make food prep easier and faster.

If I had $500 to spend, I act fast to save the additional 20% off just like a bargain shopper should! I would purchase the Swiss Diamond Fry Pan for $144.99 and then the Calphalon 10 and 12″ omelet pans for $49.99 and the Egyptian Home Bedding for $130.79 and the Egyptian Home 600 thread count sheet set for $104.76 and the Torrey Home 4 shelf Industrial Wire Unit for $202.23 and because I would use the code RingRing, I would get that additional 20% off and my total would be $484.99 instead of $606.01. Been married 19 years yesterday and have not had any of these new things for 19 years!!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
