I know it sounds bad to say, but I’m thankfull that I have no plans. I just moved into a new house with my 18 month old, my husbands deployed, I’m 5 months pregnant & I have a lot of unpackign to do. So I’m grateful that I will finally get some alone time to do it.

I have a blended family where two of my (step) daughters have to see their mother this year for the first half of the christmas holidays. I get to have some time with my own girls for Christmas. And then they return so we get to ring in the New Year all together. Watching all the New Year celebrations on TV, playing games, singing and dancing and fireworks at midnight. Then we sit back and think of the year that past and what we need to do to make it an even greater one.
