    I’m having dinner and games night with some friends this weekend, lots of family stuff around Christmas, more get-togethers with friends for New Years and an annual “We Really Did Survive the Holidays Again!” laid back dinner with good friends planned for early January.     We are going to Alabama to be with our 5 children, their spouses and our 11 grandchildren. Then it’s off to Kentucky to visit with my brother and sister and their families.

    We also have a dinner with close friends and a camping club dinner/meeting.

    One of the biggest and best things within our city is Candy Cane Lane. Candy Cane Lane is consisted of blocks and blocks of houses that go beyond in decorating and all that travel through can donate money to the MACC fund and it all started with one child in the neighborhood who had cancer. If you truely want to see the meaning of Christmas you can google Candy Cane Lane – West Allis, WI and see the decorations! – yes this is a family tradition to go there a few times each year and donate money.

    I am having my sil and bil along with their 5 kids in town for Christmas so we will be hosting Christmas dinner at our house!!

    Let’s see…

    We will be doing 3 separate dinners with my wife’s 3 sets of grandparents; Christmas Eve church service and then dinner with my family; Christmas day with her parents, my parents, and then her the rest of her family; and then dinner on the 26th at our house with my family. Craziness!
