I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I am a subscriber and I just like a garbage bag to be simple, I have an automatic trashcan so the bag doesn’t show outside the can, I just want it durable

    The main thing for me is that garbage bags are strong – no leaks! Hefty has always been my brand of choice.

    When I buy garbage bags, I look for drawstrings, ones that wont fall into the can when you put something in it, and wont tear when pulling it out to throw it in the dumpster. I dont like the flexible ones though because it seems that once they have stretched, if something pokes it, it breaks open a hole the size of texas lol!
