I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I like unscented bags that aren’t too big or too small, I like brands like Hefty, but often buy the store brands because they are less expensive…

    They have to be sturdy! Nothing worse than a bag breaking on me when I try to take the trash out *shudder*

    My garbage bags need to be strong, and I like the have handles that I can tie to secure the bag as well as carry it. Hefty bags have all that and more.
