I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I look for trash bags that have the easy clinch sack to tie the bag AND a sturdy bag that won’t break (like force flex).

    I look for garbage bags that are strechable as I put garbage in it. I also look for oder free bags as well.

    The drawstrings are important when I am looking for garbage bags. Also had well they hold food and dont let food leak through onto the bottom of my garbage can.

    Am a Fb fan. Sturdiness of material and ya drawstrings. I hate it when edges of boxes tear through trash bags.

    I look for bags that don’t rip when I am pulling them out of the garbage can. I also look for ones that have the strings built in, makes it easier to pull out and tie. Also I like ones that are think enough not to leak!!!
