I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I look for strength and flexibility in a trash bag. I also want a trash bag that has handles and does not just tie at the end. I want to ensure my TRASH is not going to end up on the floor but remain in the Trash Bag where it belongs :)

    I look for a trash bag that has drawstrings, and one that is sturdy and won’t rip. I really want it to stay up and not fall down while it’s filling with trash!

    i look for a bag that won’t rip since we tend to try and maximize the space in our trash bags, and drawstrings are helpful.
