I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    When I’m looking for a kitchen trash bag I like the kind you can TIE without them tearing! I usually go for the kind where you tie the extra flaps of the bag itself rather than the string.

    Size! We live in a top floor condo and like to fit as much in as possible for the trip down to the dumpster.

    I look for garbage bags that fit my trash can securely and I like string handles (as opposed to the tie handles). And I love bags that smell good to disguise any bag odors!

    Facebook follower, email subscriber…I have to have the trash bags that are strong. I cant stand a bag that tears! :)
