I’ve never been a fan of scented trash bags. The scent is always so floral and overpowering, and I always feel like it rubs off on me when I’m changing a bag.

So I was very interested to learn about Hefty’s new Unscented Odor Block Technology. These trash bags help neutralize garbage odors with no added scent. I was a little skeptical as to whether it would actually reduce garbage odor, but it really does work. Even though we frequently change bags, in the past I’ve noticed that after a few trash bag changes, my trash can would start to smell less than ideal, so I’d either have to get out the Lysol or take it outside and rinse it with Clorox.

    I figure since it’s holding trash and it’s going to be thrown away, whatever is cheap as long as it doesn’t tear or leak.

    I need a strong bag that fits in the trash can properly and won’t rip. One that blocks the smell would be really great!

    I like the ones that stretch…pizza boxes and other non-recyclable waste really does a number on plain plastic bags!

    I love the bags that stretch because I throw a lot of stuff away and it is nice to know that a bag can hold it. I like odor shields especially when dealing with dirty diapers as I have two in them.
