Kids, ice cream, and summertime — they all just seem to go together, don’t they? One of our favorite places to go for ice cream treats is our local SONIC Drive-In. Sure we can get our ice cream fix elsewhere, but few establishments offer the ambiance of SONIC.

My kids adore the ’50s-style drive-in layout and watching the employees rollerskate around, taking orders and delivering meals with ease. As you can see from the photos above, the ice cream offerings aren’t too shabby either! There’s a real ice cream treat to fit everyone’s tastes.

    I subscribe and my favorite ice cream is Blue Bell Mocha Almond Fudge in a waffle cone. We buy the ice cream on sale and then buy the waffle cones at Braum’s and it is SOOO good.

    My daughters LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sonic and when we go we have to drive about an hour to get there which makes it an even bigger treat!!! Milk shakes and slushies are our favorites! Would love a $50 gift card – that would help defer the cost of gas to get to the closest Sonic! :)

    My favorite treat is the shakes. I also love the strawberry slushies. My husband and I had our first “date” at the local Sonic over 35 years ago. It was love and still is.

    Actually, my favorite treats are their banana splits but also the cherry limeade chiller…mmmm! YUMMY! Now I’ll have to stop by there to get one too!
