Kids, ice cream, and summertime — they all just seem to go together, don’t they? One of our favorite places to go for ice cream treats is our local SONIC Drive-In. Sure we can get our ice cream fix elsewhere, but few establishments offer the ambiance of SONIC.

My kids adore the ’50s-style drive-in layout and watching the employees rollerskate around, taking orders and delivering meals with ease. As you can see from the photos above, the ice cream offerings aren’t too shabby either! There’s a real ice cream treat to fit everyone’s tastes.

    What isn’t my favorite ice cream treat is the real question! I love any of it and all of it and I think my kids have inherited this love as well (for better or for worse!)

    I’m partial to the blizzard from DQ, but I have never tried sonic’s ice cream, so maybe theirs is even better!
