Kids, ice cream, and summertime — they all just seem to go together, don’t they? One of our favorite places to go for ice cream treats is our local SONIC Drive-In. Sure we can get our ice cream fix elsewhere, but few establishments offer the ambiance of SONIC.

My kids adore the ’50s-style drive-in layout and watching the employees rollerskate around, taking orders and delivering meals with ease. As you can see from the photos above, the ice cream offerings aren’t too shabby either! There’s a real ice cream treat to fit everyone’s tastes.

    I just had my first strawberry milkshake from Sonic this week. We took advantage of the B1G1 deal. They are GREAT! I have to say we’ll be making another trip before June 27!

    Fav ice cream treat has to be ice cream on waffles. I’m a plain vanilla girl, but do love fresh strawberries on the top with some whipped cream. Yum!
