I have a coin bucket that I throw all our lose change in, and I only count it when it’s full, so maybe once a year or so?

Hello!
I subscribe via RSS/email. My kids and I keep two plastic refillable water jugs. One jug near the washing machine and one jug in my room. The jug in the wash room is for found $ at the bottom of the machine. Finders keepers rules apply. :)
I’ve made it a habit at the end of the day to drop change in it that is in my pockets or at the bottom of my purse.
We (my kids and I) just turned our change into the Coinstar machine two days ago. The machine is easy to use and it sounds like we’ve hit the jackpot when the coins go in. :)
We cash our coins in when we need the extra cash. Living on a fixed income with (5) kids is challenging. So, the extra comes in handy.

We have a coin bank. I count the change about once a month.

I keep a coin jar and I count the money about 2 times per year – once before summer vacation and once before Xmas shopping. Then I see how much I want to spend.

We keep all the spare change in a treasure box. Unfortunately, my son thinks it’s his personal treasure to play with. Oh well, one day we might round up enough of it to count it.

I do have a coin jar. I count it once it gets full enough to see if it is time to take it in to be converted to an Amazon gift card.

We have several coin jars. I keep them everywhere! I don’t count them frequently, though. Maybe once every year or two I cash them in.

We don’t have a coin jar — I always try to use up my change because it’s so heavy and a pain to carry around! But I’d love to win the Borders gift card anyway!
