Yes! We have a coin jar. It is a stury huge jug that is brimming over. Given hubs’s unemployment, there’s a possibility that is the entire Christmas fund for the household this year!

We have a piggy bank in the kitchen drawer with three compartments-save, spend and invest. We empty our pockets and purses every time we get home and when the spend compartment gets full we use it for fun family activities that we otherwise couldn’t afford.

I keep change in a ziplock baggie. The only time it gets counted, is when Coinstar has a promotion that needs a certain amount to qualify.
