November 11, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Fisher Price Stride to Ride Lion Walking Toy
We’re definitely a Fisher-Price family. From Little People to GeoTrax, we’ve got quite the collection! Many Fisher-Price toys are classics (and they’re even bringing back some retro favorites), and you can find great BOGO deals on many toys during the holiday season.

This week I’m giving away a Fisher-Price Stride-To-Ride Lion, but I also love some of these others:

  • Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Farm (with my review!)
  • Fisher-Price Classic Telephone and Two-Tune Television
  • Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Letters Mailbox

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Fisher-Price Go Baby Go! Stride-to-Ride Lion Walking Toy, just in time for Christmas!

The lion walking toy is designed with a wide wheel base to make it stable for younger toddlers who are just learning to walk as well as experienced walkers who want to hop on and go for a ride. And it looks pretty cute too!

To enter, tell me your favorite toddler gift. Is it a classic toy? Something handmade? Something unexpected?

It doesn’t look like much, but the Rainbow People Mover is now my go-to gift for toddlers. (https://www.atoygarden.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=906) You know how the box is usually more entertaining than the toy? Not with this one – and that isn’t just because it doesn’t come in a box.

One of my favorite toy’s to give I am actualy getting for my son this year is a Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera. Those things rock!! They are indestructable, I swear! And the kids don’t care if the pics are not that great, they just love to see what they have shot. It’s awesome.

In the age of digital cameras, my favorite gift to give of all time was the Vtech Kidizoom camera. Kids see their parents always taking lots of pics of their kids & they love to see the pictures right after you take them. This camera was a great gift idea for kids who always want to hold the camera. Now they can take their own!

My daughter (11 months old) and I love to play with her tea set. I like that it encourages sharing and good manners. She loves the pouring sound and the songs, and of course mommy time.
Thanks for the chance to win! She is just learning to pull up on things and will be learning to walk soon, it would be great to win!

Last year we were working with very little cash and I gave the 3 toddlers in my family the large clean coffee creamer containers, wrapper removed with clothes pins from the dollar store to drop inside them all the moms reported back that this got a lot of playtime.

I love toys that let kids create and use their imaginations. Lego products are great because they start out with the big ones and then can graduate to the small ones. We find them at yard sales all the time and bring them home and soak them and they are like new.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
