how are you figuring the $1.71 frosting will be free? Are you assuming the doubling of 2 – 50 cent Q’s? Help!

SK, you’d be paying as low as $1.89 for 2. Use two $0.50/1 coupons that will double to $1 off, and they would be free.

    I was confused too….

So, are you assuming that all these coupons are doubled? Does Publix always double coupons? How do you know when the double or triple happens at different stores?!?!

    Please help! New to couponing!!

Point of clarification – I think when you are saying double, you mean if your store doubles. Right? I’m in Florida and we do not get to double our coupons. Ugh.

I have to admit, I get thrown off by some of these deal postings too when it assumes doubling. I too live in FL and they don’t double here.

Im also from Florida… What I think she means is that since the items are BOGO you could use 2 coupons not just 1(Eventhough you are only paying for one item and getting the otherone for free you can use 2 coupons). I might be wrong but that is what I understood…
    Hope it helps

It’s so late for me to think reasonably, but at $1.71 on a BOGO, if you use 2 50 cent Q’s, that would still mean it costs .71. Whatever, free or not .71 is a great price for two tubs of frosting!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
