Subway’s School Rewards program is a great way to earn money for your favorite school just by eating at Subway. Schools can use the money for supplies, athletic equipment — whatever they need most! To participate, simply pick up a Subway card, load it with funds, link it to your school and use it to pay for your Subway meals.
Teachers can also sign up for a Get Fit for the Fun of It kit from SubwayKids.com as a way to help their students get and stay fit!
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a $100 Subway gift card. Link the card to your favorite school and begin earning cash rewards for the school with every purchase on your gift card!

These free give-aways are a great way for you to get ideas for anything you want….from hundreds of ppl! hmmmm…budget-friendly teacher gift idea…my sons is only in preschool, so I don’t have too much experience with this. I usually find out from other co-teachers what my son’s teacher likes and get a gift card. Or find out what his/her favorite dessert is, and make a batch or two!

I love Subway and helping my daughter’s school!

The PTA at my kids preschool collects $ from any family that wants to donate and then pools it and gives a cash card. It’s labeled from all the kids. That way, everyone can donate what they can and no one feels bad if they can’t spend as much as others.

Candles are always a good gift =)

Making up jar gifts is fun, easy and cheap! The Bath & Body works deal on the antibacterial soap is also a good option. Wrap it with a wash cloth, throw in a candy cane and wrap a festive bow around it.

There are so many good deals throughout the year on things like candles, as others have mentioned. It’s nice to be able to put a few nice items to the side and have a nice gift basket ready at holiday time!

Gift cards-even in smaller denominations. Teachers get so many knick-knacks, cookies etc., why not give them a card so they can get what they want?

I actually love to help out whenever I can at the school, since I once was a coach there, so I know that actually being at the school helping out is the best thing I can do!
I also bring tons of extra school supplies to the school right after school starts, when I get items for super cheap, of course!

One good teacher gift we used to make in alaska is you fill a fabric bag (that you fashion from your favorite print) with corn feed, then sew it up. You can pop these babies into the microwave for a natural heating pad or throw it under the covers to warm the bed, or for a safe way to ease the pain of your little tykes ears.

Being a teacher myself, my favorite budget friendly gifts are any donations to the classroom — whether it’s books or art supplies (think cardboard toilet paper rolls, bottle caps, etc), anything is helpful.
