Well I must say, my first favorite thing about Thanksgiving is just being together! Whether it be with family or good friends. There is just something to be said about that kind of comfort! As far as food goes, bring it on! I love it all but by far my Grandma Crippen’s mashed potatoes are the best part of the meal! I even have to have smaller firsts, so I don’t feel so bad going back for seconds!

Aside from getting the whole family together, I really enjoy my grandmother’s sweet potato casserole with marshmallows on top and her dressing. It is the best!

My favorite part of Thanksgiving in being able to eat along side of all the people we are so thankful for. The ones that we dont get to see everyday. We are also very thankful to be able to stockpile so many items to have collected enough to feed about 5 families this Thanksgiving. So the big thanks goes to knowing we have made other families very happy and most of all full this Thanksgiving. What a blessing that is.

My favorite part of the Thanksgiving day meal are all the side dishes! I could totally skip the turkey and eat mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberries! Carb heaven!

My favorite part of Thanksgiving is being together with my whole family as we all live far away from each other and this is the one day of the year that we’re all together! :) But food wise — my favorite is my Grammie’s homemade cinnamon or marmalade rolls that she’s baked forever as they’re a family recipe and absolutely delicious!!! I swear I gain 5lbs just from eating her rolls!! Hee hee :)

I don’t cook much throughout the year, but I love cooking for Thanksgiving. I like making homemade mashed potatoes, waldorf salad, apple pie, and fig nut loaf.
Kim
I love making my “cheater” stuffing by adding a few things to a boxed version and everyone (including my MIL) thinks it’s homemade!
