Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out my first-ever vlog attempt on frugal baby and toddler feeding, so you’ve seen the Flip in action! The quality of the video far exceeded my expectations, and it is SO simple to use.
I was really kind of nervous about doing a video. “You, uh, want me to do what? Put myself on display in a series of videos in front of all my readers? Um . . . okay.” But I had a great time learning how to use my Flip and playing around with Windows Movie Maker. Now that I’ve got one done and relaxed a little, I’m really looking forward to my next vlog!

My husband and I both have jobs that have us out of an office most of the day, so to save money, we both pack small coolers daily. We fill them with our sodas, water, and snacks. Even if I was in an office all day, I just can’t see spending all that money to purchase individual items from a machine.

I look at a lot of deal sites, which can save you lots of money but also tempt you into things you don’t need. Unless the deal is expiring I sit on it for a while to decide if it is worth the money. I just try to be smart about all my purchases, not impulsive.

My tip for you: When making something for dinner, just simply do a double batch and freeze the second portion. It saves you time (just bake and eat) and it saves you money (for the cooking)

I’ve just been using coupons and matching them with sales. I think that the biggest thing saving us money right now though was my decision to breastfeed instead of formula feed because that stuff is soo expensive!

I buy my groceries online and have them delivered. While there is an additional $10 delivery charge, I find that I still save money because I don’t end up picking up random items that I don’t really need.
