Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out my first-ever vlog attempt on frugal baby and toddler feeding, so you’ve seen the Flip in action! The quality of the video far exceeded my expectations, and it is SO simple to use.
I was really kind of nervous about doing a video. “You, uh, want me to do what? Put myself on display in a series of videos in front of all my readers? Um . . . okay.” But I had a great time learning how to use my Flip and playing around with Windows Movie Maker. Now that I’ve got one done and relaxed a little, I’m really looking forward to my next vlog!

The best money saving thing I have done recently is to sit down and plan out our meals for the week. Prior to this I would go to the grocery store without a list. I felt like I was always getting too much food. I am saving money on groceries and I think we are eating healthier too.

A great way I save money is to never pay full price. If I see something I like (say at target or old navy), I wait a couple of weeks. It either goes on sale or goes to clearance. Walmart also has a great clearance aisle (which saves time, you don’t have to hunt through to store searchin for each dept’s clearance, it’s all right there!).
If I can’t wait, I probably shouldn’t get it anyway!!

I’ve been doing Mypoints for about 10 months now and have received 6 $25 gift cards for restaurants since then. My husband, mother, daughters and sons have all joined and received just a little less than I have.
Also, I LOVE cleaning wipes but I keep a scissors nearby and cut them in half for smaller jobs.

Money saving tip: buy office supplies during back-to-school sales in August. Many items are so significantly reduced in price that it is easy to stock up for the whole year.
Also, I save the entire coupon flyer rather than just clipping the coupons I think I will use and trading the rest of the coupons through a coupon train.

I have started using microfiber cloths on my windows and mirrors. My windows and mirrors are way cleaner than they ever were before and I don’t have to buy windex or any type of glass cleaner again!
