Hopefully you’ve had a chance to check out my first-ever vlog attempt on frugal baby and toddler feeding, so you’ve seen the Flip in action! The quality of the video far exceeded my expectations, and it is SO simple to use.
I was really kind of nervous about doing a video. “You, uh, want me to do what? Put myself on display in a series of videos in front of all my readers? Um . . . okay.” But I had a great time learning how to use my Flip and playing around with Windows Movie Maker. Now that I’ve got one done and relaxed a little, I’m really looking forward to my next vlog!

The best thing we did to save money, was to sell my husband’s truck and for him to start taking the bus to work. He bought a used compact car and drives it to and from the bus stop everyday. I use all coupons under $1 at Lowe’s Foods because they double them! Also, I bought the reusable bags at Lowe’s and when I bring them they give me lots of bonus points! Then, I can use the bonus points for money off next time I shop! I usually leave Lowe’s with $75 worth of groceries for around 30!

If there is something we both need we split the cost and the product. And for my second entry! My favorite money saving tip is to make my own laundry detergent… I use Trent’s recipe. I posted a link to it on my blog so if someone really wants to find it you can! :-)
It only takes me about 10 minutes to make.. and it’s as good as Tide, and it has saved me a pretty penny, which also means that I’m able to help more people out! :-)
