Which Grocery Stores Double Coupons?

May 24, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 837 Comments

One of the questions I’m asked most frequently these days is, “Which grocery stores double coupons in [my area]?” I’ve generally been responding by telling them to contact their local stores and ask what their policy is — but today it occurred to me that perhaps we could create a resource that will save everyone a little time and energy.

So to that end, I’d like to compile a list of grocery stores that double by state, and I need your help. Please scroll down and leave a comment on this post with your state and any grocery stores that you know of that double coupons.

I’ll use the information to create a resource that will allow users to easily look up their state and find out which stores will double coupons. Thanks for your help!

Many firmly believe, organically raised beef tastes better as well.
Visiting a farm is always exciting. The foods taste better because
of improved techniques adopted in growing the plants. It’s amazing
how many specialized products there are, and how toxic
many of these are. Using organic skin care products benefits not only you but other people and the environment as well.

Kroger no longer doubles coupons in the SE region. It is confusing to see prices on your site as if they still are doubling.

A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to tell
the truth nevertheless I’ll surely come again again.

I think this is a great suggestions on asking people to leave comments on who double coupons, however I don’t think it quite helps those who are new to couponing. For one some people may not know what you mean when you say double couponing. Double couponing could mean using the same coupon twice or using multiple coupons. And not only could the meaning be confusing, but so could the fact that rules change all the time at different stores. I think the best suggestion would be for that person to call each time and make sure the rules still applies at each store. I am stating this from a personal experience. When I first started couponing, Wal-Mart would take as many coupons as I had at once, would price match the lowest price and even let me do one transaction. All three of these rules slowly changes over a period of three weeks. It was very frustrating because I would not find out until I was trying to check out. So checking frequently is probably the best suggestion a professional couponer could give someone.
