Walmart: Wheaties Fuel Cereal FREE

February 25, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 21 Comments

Several readers have reported finding Wheaties Fuel cereal priced at just $1 at Walmart. Use one of the following coupons to snag cereal for as low as FREE!

Wheaties Fuel Cereal, $1
$1/1 Wheaties Fuel printable
$0.75/1 Wheaties Fuel printable
$1/1 Wheaties Cereal, exp. 4-3-10 (SS 02/21/10)
As low as FREE after coupon!

(Thanks, Krazy Coupon Lady and Good Deal Mama!)

As an aside, I want to make it absolutely clear that when I post one-off deals like this, the FREE Gillette body wash at Target, the Huggies Wipes at CVS, etc., please do not take it as a recommendation that you make a special trip to the store just for that one item.

I can’t control all variables of a deal, nor can I personally purchase everything I post, but I try very hard to only post offers from reputable sources.

I heard CVS was done on Wed. with the 2/5 wipes. Is that true!

But will they use the coupon when it’s already on sale? Whenever I’ve tried to do that on other items, they refuse.

    Thanks,
    Kelsey

Yes, the wipes deal appears to be dead now, Stephanie. I was just using it as a recent example.

Kelsey, you can absolutely use coupons on sale items. That’s the whole premise behind maximizing your grocery savings!

Toledo is a no go on the Wheaties deal. I was there last night and checked the prices. We never seem to get the good Wal-Mart deals.

Tara, I love your blog and love you for all the work you put into it for us. Everyone needs to be discerning on their own for what deals are worth going out to the store to see if it is a “go” for them or not. Yesterday I went to Target to find out that the Kraft cheese isn’t on sale, and my coupon was expired, but I still got free Rimmel mascara while I was there so it wasn’t wasted. :)

When I click on the $1/1 Wheaties Fuel printable, it takes me to Facebook and says that the page is “The page you requested was not found.” Did I do something wrong or is the coupon gone? Thank you.

Yeah, Mrs. K, same here. No coupon on coupons.com either. Is it zip code specific?

Wheaties was $2 at my store in TX. Still a good deal though. Thanks for all your hard work Tara. Even though not every deal works for everyone, I still get some great deals from you!

Sorry, I had the URL for the Facebook coupon wrong. It should be fixed now! The Coupons.com printable may be regional.

Tara, just wanted to say, totally understand! Please don’t be discouraged. I just appreciate all the work that goes into posting these deals. Earning money isn’t easy and sometimes saving money isn’t easy either. Not everyone even makes an attempt. Last year I saved over $1,000 using ECB and coupons at CVS. Thank you for providing the foundation of savings, that I built on!

The Huggies wipes glitch must be fixed. Scanned yesterday here in Cols OH and no deal. Did you know they have a scanner machine and if you scan your card, you can get coupons.
I love CVS and the personnel there at all CVS I have visited. Just tried the pharmacy yesterday, and they will quickly fill your Rx and you can wait. It was a new Rx, never used them before and all very experienced pharmacists.

Try using ZIP 76208 for the Wheaties Fuel on coupons.com … it’s listed as “Save $0.75 off Big G cereals when you buy Wheaties Fuel” with a picture of Wheaties Fuel

Central PA Wheaties was $2.50. :-( I might’ve bit at $2.00 before coupon, but $2.50 is a little much for me.

    Tara,
thanks for the heads up, I was headed to Walmart already. But the big box was $3.50 (&by the toys!?!) & the small box was $2.50.
    On the plus side I got the last Rimmel mascara (;

But I also noticed that there was A LOT, I mean A LOT, of price increases from last month. I had to check my receipt from then to make sure I wasn’t imagining things.
No name frozen veggies were up 20-30cents for 12-16oz.
Cheese was up .25cents, milk was raised, downey, dawn, ziploc bags, toilet paper…the list can go on; but geesh
