If you don’t see these at your Target check back in a few days after they stock. With the Axe deal (which my brothers are oh so thankful for…and so am I since they live with us.) anyhow… with that deal I checked and couldn’t find them. The next time I was there I checked and the same thing. Then I ran in there to grab some diapers… and boom they were sitting on an endcap. I got several bottles… the sales kid told me they were sitting in the back and they manager didn’t have them put out till the body wash needed to be restocked.

I found them on a front sidecap-one row over from the regular body wash section.
Coupons beeped because of the two cent discrepancy, but my cashier just pushed them through.
Love your site and all your great work on these deals!

    Bonnie and Tonya,
Maybe people get grouchy because not everyone gets to “dash” to the store, some have to make a trip and it is disappointing to not be able to find posted deals. I’m always happy when I glean something from a blog that saves me money, but I also keep in mind that the people writing the blogs are being compensated by various means also. A blog is a business and any business will have both negative and positive feedback. Everyone could’ve been a little kinder in these posts, Tara herself was quite gracious.

What is the deal on deodorant that a couple people have mentioned?

Oh, I hope everyone knows I was joking about the dashing off to the store. I never recommend making a special trip for a single deal unless you have other errands, etc.

I thought my Target didn’t have it either because it wasn’t with the other Gilette Body Washes. Our Target had it stocked at the end of the aisle. Maybe that’s what is happening to those of you who can’t find this product.

I found these on an endcap near the same aisle but they – they were NOT on the shelf with the other body washes. The employee said the only slot for them is on the endcap where I found them.. so check those!

Does anyone know if you have to go to a SuperTarget for this deal, or will the regular Target have it also? I’ll be near a regular Target this evening but ST is far away.

I just picked up 2 bottles, since I only had 1 coupon, but that was awesome anyway. My husband grouches when I store it, but it’s not like this stuff is going to go bad ;) Do people buy multiple newspapers? How do you end up with so many copies of a coupon?!!

If there are going to be good coupons in the paper, I will get more thsn one copy. I am also in a coupon exchange group. I love it. you send the ones you dont want/use to the next person in your group, and when you get an envelope, take out the ones you want, replace them with ones you have and pass on.

Does anyone know the DPCI# for these? I couldn’t find them, but they were redoing this whole area of my Target, and half the items were stacked in grocery carts. I thought maybe if I had the DPCI they could just look it up on the “scanner guns” that they have. Thanks if you do!

    Karen,
My intention wasn’t to be mean, I just think that Tara is under-appreciated for what she does. Yes, I understand that bloggers are compensated in many ways, but I bet it isn’t nearly what it should be for all of the work and time that she puts into this blog.

My point is just this: I would rather Tara post all of the deals that she can, for us to try if we wish, and not just those that she has personally tried. That’s why the comment sections are so valuable, they give feedback on how the deals are playing out, where they are working, how the different rules work etc. Let’s all just be nice and save money together.

Well, I started this line of posts by asking if Tara knew where these were in her Target because I didn’t have much time when I was there and they were not on the regular shelves. Thanks for the answer to check the side/end caps. I found them at my central Illinois Target today two aisles away from the rest of the men’s products, on a “Side” cap.
    Here’s what I got –
3 body washes and 1 deodorant for $1.72. I had the $4/2 body wahses, plus a Buy one deodorant, get a free body wash. I had a $1 off the deodorant and a 75 cents target coupon that came from a mailer. That’s $10.21 in product for $1.72! Thanks Deal Seeking Mom!

Thank you for posting this deal! I really appreciate it. I don’t go to Target often because I have had a lot of trouble with mine but I went for a couple of other things and checked this out while I was there.

The manager who I usually feel starting at me and my coupons was the one who checked me out because they were so busy. I pretty much figured he would just decline the coupon immediately but he looked it over once and accepted it. I found the small body washes on a side end like most people are saying, there were only a few there also so they could be easy to miss.

Additional deal I found: Kashi TLC granola bars are on price reduction for $2.59 . I had lots of $1/1 coupons from peelies making them $1.59. Not bad for those bars that are usually so expensive and that my family loves!

    Hi,
Just want to say how much I enjoy your blog!
I’m starting to try out these deals thanks to all your hard work. I went to Target today to get the Gillette body wash and Scotchguard pet hair remover deal (both free with coupon). It turned out that the body wash was 3.99 instead of 1.99 and the scotchguard kit was 7.99 instead of 4.99 (the refills were 3.99). Aren’t all target prices universal? I live in NY and am wondering if it costs more because of the region.

Gina, it sounds like you found the wrong size of body wash. The $3.99 bottle is the larger 12 oz. bottle. The $1.99 size is 8.4 oz. and is typically found on the endcaps based on the comments left here.

As for the Scotchguard, there was a special package that was $4.99. Perhaps your store no longer had that size.

When it comes to deals like this, they will only work on the specific items mentioned in the post, so it may help to make notes on your list of any details like size, location in the store, etc.

The Scotchguard deal that is $3.99 is the one that has only 2 refills. There is a larger package that includes 5+ refills and that’s the one that is 7.99. I found the cheaper ones on an endcap in the cleaning section.

If you anyone is having trouble finding the item of gillette items search this item at the service desk..ask a teammember to tell you where it is located in the store….049010391..that is the Deodorant..but where this size item is located is where the body wash will be located also and for the 4.99 pet hair removing thing the dpci is 002090271
