No offense to you Tara but the Walmart posts are laughable to me because their “low price guarantee” really isn’t that. I’m sorry but I’ve recently grown tired of seeing Walmart’s name on frugal shopping sites when they are the least frugal of all stores in my opinion.

I do agree with you to a certain extent, Rebecca. I can get my groceries far cheaper at a standard grocery store. However, many readers don’t have the luxury of stores that double coupons or possibly Walmart may be the only store they have to shop at, and so these may be a bargain for them.

Thanks for clarifying that Tara. I understand better now what you and all the other helpful sites are doing in including Walmart. I feel sorry for those that have Walmart as their only option because I have a feeling they had other options before Walmart moved to their town. I am very blessed to live by several stores that double coupons and have specials where they run super doubles or triples too. I don’t take them for granted one single bit and try to support them through my couponing.

Quick question, my sister-in-law up in Pittsburgh, PA just told me a cashier at her Walmart refused to accept any of her internet coupons, telling her that three hours before she arrived there to shop, Walmart had instituted a new policy that would not allow them to accept any more internet coupons, period. Supposedly she said this is a corporate policy that is brand new and will be spreading to all other Walmarts. I didn’t believe this and told her to check with a manager, because the cashier may have misunderstood. I know our local wm will only take internet printables now if they scan, they can’t enter them manually, I thought this may be what she was thinking of. Anyone heard anything about this?

Our Walmart Coke and Pepsi Products still say Rollback $6.98; if I take a 24 pack to the register, will it ring $5.00, or tstay at he price stated?

When I went to the Walmart by my home the Coka and Pepsi Rollback prices were still saying $6.98. If I were to take them to the register, would theuy ring up $5.00 like you stated, or would they ring at $6.98? Any Idea?

Judy, where do you live? Some states charge additional taxes or deposit fees that can increase the price.

I live in Wisconsin. Thank you sooo much for this web site… raising 5 children I had to be a coupon clipper, but I fell away a few years back; now that I don’t pack lunches, the kids are in college and we are eating healthier; but i’m back…. I’m so inspired to again to save money and you help make it much, much, easier..
