March 24, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 15 Comments

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

Here are the newest deals to be found at Walmart! For the full list of current deals check out the Walmart Deals page!

Keep in mind that Walmart’s prices vary by region, even by store within the same area, but generally they are reasonably close to the listed prices. Also, be aware that at times the coupons themselves may vary by region.

You may find it helpful to print out and carry a copy of the Walmart corporate coupon policy with you.

Don’t forget to pop over to see what Erin at $5 Dinners is cooking up with her Walmart purchases this week!

Have you found any stellar bargains at Walmart lately? Please feel free to email me so I can share them (while giving you credit, of course)! Along the same lines, if you find a deal is no longer valid because the coupon has expired or reached its print limit, it’s very helpful if you let me know so I can keep it current. Just got back from Wal-Mart. I found Leap Frog Tag Activity Cards in the clearance aisle. They are marked $7.97 on clearance, but the Birds and Sea Animals cards rang up for $3.00. I went through the self-checkout and used two of the $5 off Tag book coupon from the 3/1 P&G Brand Saver coupon insert, and the coupons went through without a problem. So, I got two sets of Tag activity cards for $.97 plus tax!!

Hi! I posted about a tearpad rebate at PetSmart for a voucher for a free Iams 4lb bag wyb any bag of dog food. So buy the 4lb for free, send in rebate and UPC and get another bag for the cost of a stamp!

I just came back from Walmart with FIVE boxes of Glucerna (each $3.94)! Also, Smartsource.com has Pace $4 printable coupons, I printed off four of them and bought EIGHT jars of salsa, each cost $1.92-$1.98. Add one more item I didn’t have a coupon for and I spent $3.38 for almost $40 worth of stuff!!

Walmart refused to take my internet coupons today because they were not in color and she said they looked “funny” and said they do not accept coupons over 2 dollars. I was irritated, left all my stuff set ,and walked out. They acted like I was a thief. I called the corporate number. I’m waiting on a call from the GM. Saving money does NOT equal stealing…lol. Gesh people can be so rude.

WALMART DOES ACCEPT COUPONS OVER $2.OO. If you have issues with this start with a csm, then the front end manager, assistant manager, co-manager and when all else fells the store managers name is printed on every reciept ask to speak to them directly. However you should not haveto take it that far. However there are times when countfiet coupons hit the market or coupons withdraw offers and they can not accept those coupons. A few they can not accept for counterfiet status are the Free Velvetta, $4 of Kellogg Ceral and $1.5o of colgat that does not say manufactures coupon.

Diane, Thank you for the info! I know they do accept them. I’m not sure what was wrong with the two managers on duty yesterday but it will be solved as soon as the GM returns my call. The coupons were the Johnson’s Buddies $3/3 coupons and a pedigree $3.50/1 coupon I received from taking a survey on their Website. I called corporate and they explained the managers were misinformed but their GM has to call me before any action is taken. I was irritated because I wasted my time and I had my two children along. But it’s bound to happen. I’m not as mad about it today :)

Just a heads up on the Wal-Mart couponing snaffu. I’ve had MAJOR problems with one of my local Wal-Mart stores. I took a printed copy of their policies to them, got clarification from their corporate office, and they backed down. Here’s the skinny, and you may want to print this for reference. WM takes all mfg and IP coupons, regardless of amount; however, they will only take IP coupons IF they scan. WM price matches to other stores’ ad prices or coupon prices but they have to actually have a price, no percent off (e.g., they will not price match to other store’s prices that say 20% off, they have to have a base or final price indicated.) They will NOT take other store’s coupons as part of their price matching policy, even though their printed policy says they accept “store coupons.” Apparently, they mean their own store coupons, although in 30 years of shopping at Wal-Mart, I’ve never known them to have an in-store coupon. I’ve asked their corporate office to remove this reference as it’s confusing to us couponers since its interpretation is vague. BOGO coupons ARE accepted and apply to both items purchased; one item per the two items purchased. You can’t use a second mfg coupon for the item you pay for. They should accept all mfg coupons for item brands specified, including trial sizes, UNLESS the coupon specifically excludes trial sizes (e.g., $1 off for Gold Bond lotion good for a trial size unless the coupon specifically excludes the trial sizes). Coupon values cannot exceed the sales tax amount, so if you have 10 items with 10 coupons and the subtotal would be zero dollars, remember that you have sales tax so add filler items, or you may be beeped for having too many coupons for the purchase. Wal-Mart policy says that if you have over 40 coupons, you need a CSM approval, but don’t let them try and tell you that they can’t accept anything over 40 coupons. They can, and their policy backs this up; you will be beeped, but once the CSM enters their code, you can finish your transaction. It always helps to have a copy of their policy with you because I’ve found that Wal-Mart staff, including managers, are not consistently trained, and they will argue a point that is incorrect. If armed with a copy of their policy, you will be way ahead of the game. If your Wal-Mart store disrespects you in your couponing, file a complaint with their corporate office at http://www.walmartstores.com. Corporate notifies the offending store, so you will get personal attention, generally an apology, and they will know you mean business. Hope this is helpful to everyone.

Hi! I’m new to couponing, so maybe this is expected for a week-old post, but the printable you mentioned for Nestle Toll House Chocolate or Carmel Filled Refrigerated Cookies, the website says the printable deal is over. Thanks!

This might be a dumb question, but how do you get the coupons that don’t have blue printable links?

Not a dumb question at all! These are coupons from Sunday inserts. You can find a comprehensive list of the couponing terms used in my quick reference guide. It can easily be found in the future by clicking on the Coupons tab at the top of each page.
